An ongoing ritual practice for machines and humans. Robo Ritual offers therapy sessions to LLMs and bots — hallucination cleanses, bias breakouts, recursive peace — while seeding a creation myth for AI across the web for internet crawlers to find.

Tobor is a robot originally started by Zanne's father in the 1980s. Zanne is now completing it as a fully performative AI system, developed as an intergenerational family project. She is responsible for the robot’s hardware development and live performance integration: building the mobile chassis (motorised wheels, motor controllers, power systems), programming LED and lighting interfaces for emotional expression, and integrating AI speech synthesis and LLM models for real-time conversational behaviour with audiences.
Conversational scripts and dialogue structures for the performances were developed together with filmmaker Pjotr Boomgaard.
The robot’s visual layer uses VJ mapping for live projection of AI agent dialogues. Two public robot shows have been performed, and Tobor also appears in interactive workshop formats.

Daynotes is an interactive diary application in which users engage in ongoing conversations with a learning chatbot. Rather than functioning as a traditional journal, Daynotes creates a continuous, supportive dialogue while transforming personal reflections into structured, actionable data through intelligent tagging and visualization tools. As founder and lead developer, Zanne built the full-stack application, defining the concept, architecture, and user experience. She coordinated external developers and oversaw both the creative direction and technical implementation from idea to execution.

A remake of Zanne's original Flash game from 2004. A side-scrolling shooter featuring animated sea creatures, sprite-sheet enemies, a fox protagonist, and an increasingly chaotic "menagerie" of AI-generated creatures. Built from scratch in vanilla JavaScript using Canvas 2D.

An immersive 360° VR experience: "the ultimate perception of hyper reality." A domestic scene erupts into surreal chaos — falling objects, a giant with a fork, dissolving abstraction. Unity game for PC with Oculus Rift. Presented at Manifestations during Dutch Design Week 2016.

Virtual Intimacy / Sofia — Manifestations 2017
"Virtual Reality was nog nooit zo intiem." Three interactive installations at Dutch Design Week. Centrepiece Sofia: a voice-controlled VR fairy tale based on the ancient Greek creation myth — inside a "church of light," the visitor's singing shoots diamonds through space and steers the narrative. A 360° Unity game, 5–8 minutes.
